This photograph was captured on a very misty morning at Swanage Old Pier. The thick mist obscured the horizon completely, creating a mysterious atmosphere. To enhance this effect, I chose to use a long exposure, which smoothed out the sea and added a serene quality to the scene. Additionally, I deliberately overexposed the image to achieve a high key effect. Afterward, I processed the shot into a black and white image, which, in my opinion, translates beautifully into a striking print.
