I went to take some pictures of the famous Starling murmuration that happens over the winter months in Brighton, East Sussex. When I arrived, a large bank of fog, or sea fret, rolled in and completely blocked out the view. However, as the sun was dipping down below the horizon, a final strip of light appeared. In that fleeting moment, I managed to capture the starlings flying back towards the pier, creating a striking image against the glowing sky.
